Empowering Independence for Disabled Adults

P.O.W LLC Coordinated Family Support Services program is here to help identify and connect Regional Center, community, and/or generic services too mild to severely developmentally disabled individuals and their families ages 18-99 of all creeds, genders, and socioeconomic status. The focus of our program is to provide training and assistance with necessary comprehensive services and support to developmentally disabled individuals and their families that will create pathways to overcome barriers accessing any generic services and other needed resources.

 P.O.W LLC will provide Coordinated Family Support Services and assume the responsibility for providing and promoting support to individual participants that reside within their family home to have a more independent, productive, and healthy life through being connected to individualized services. These services will be person/family centered and will help to support participants in individual choice making using community, generic, and regional center service resources to assist them in achieving their goals.

 Services will include but are not limited to Assistance with creating a daily routine or schedule for the individual participant and Family that helps promote independence, housing support to ensure the physical dwelling is fully accessible for the individual participant, help to create an emergency evacuation and/or disaster plan for the household, and research and provide any/all support necessary to help the individual participate reside in the family home.

 Some of the goals of the P.O.W LLC program are to assist and support all individual participants and their families with managing and planning out their current and future independent life objectives. Being an advocate for individuals with developmental, intellectual, and/or physical disabilities that promote respect and inclusion for said individuals within their family homes and communities they reside in. The primary purpose is to coordinate services and support for individual participants 18 years of age and older who reside in their family home that are tailored to the unique and specific communicated and assessed needs of the individual served and their family that respect all aspects of preferred spoken language and culture. P.O.W LLC is committed to providing and connecting the developmentally disabled community and their family with the needed support, services, and resources to help give them the best quality of life possible.
